The Forest View Lodge adjoins  thousands of acres of The Shawnee National
Forest.  The ambiance of this charming 3 bedroom house, & 20 acre estate, is
country elegance!  Decorated elegantly with old antique charm, but, equipped
with modern appliances. Just down the road from The Shawnee Hills Wine
Trail.

Our large, secluded, outdoor hot tub, is a wonderful way to start, or finish off
your retreat!  Enjoy beautiful sunsets by romantic candlelight, while soaking in
the hot tub.  After the sun sets, relax with your favorite bottle of wine, from one
of our local vineyards,  by a roaring campfire.
Get back to nature at Forest View, sit out back under a covered porch and
watch the various wildlife in the fields. Hawks, owls, blue herons,
hummingbirds, are just to name a few. Some of the deer can be curious
at times. If your lucky, you can catch a rainbow after an early evening
shower!
The Forest View Lodge is located in a
tri-state area.  From Cape Girardeau, to
Paducah, or just 30 minutes to Carbondale,
your sure to find a vast amount of shopping
available.  Whether shopping, or touring the
wine trail, stop in at some of Southern Illinois
distinctive antique shops.
